What We Do

- Our Work
One Child at a Time
House of Blue Hope provides education, housing, and holistic support to vulnerable children, currently supporting over 100 boys and girls. They live in our homes under the care of house mamas, social workers and a psychologist. Our children receive the essentials to thrive such as shelter, food, water, clothes, medical care and school fees for reputable schools within Dar es Salaam.
We have also set up educational programs in addition to school learning such as tutoring, hygiene, computer classes, sports and recreation, and additional English classes.

Safe Havens, Strong Futures
We provide boys and girls with safe, nurturing homes—offering education, emotional support, and life skills to help them overcome adversity, unlock potential, and build stable, empowered futures with dignity.
- Boys' Homes

Since our founding, we’ve housed boys in Mabibo, many of whom have completed degrees and vocational training. We now operate:
A home for younger boys
A transitional home for older boys
Together, these homes offer a pathway to stability, education, and opportunity.
- Girls' Home

Opened in 2017, our girls’ home supports vulnerable young girls facing issues like:
Gender-based violence
Forced child marriage
Interrupted education
With your support, we aim to expand our capacity and help even more girls pursue education and a safe, empowered life.
