Billy Bludgus - Founder and President
Billy
was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. He graduated from the University of Miami in 2005 with a degree in Secondary Education
and Mathematics and a Professional Teacher's Certification from the state of Florida. He then ventured to Dar es
Salaam, Tanzania where he spent two and a half years teaching at a high school, learning Swahili, and starting the Blue Hope
project. He is now back in the US, teaching and directing the service program at a Jesuit high school in New York City.

Shannon Ashford - Vice President of Research
Shannon is originally from West Virginia and attended the University of Miami where
she worked with other members of the Blue Hope board through the Butler Volunteer Services Center organizing service events
for the campus and greater Miami community. Shannon recently finished up her studies at Syracuse University College
of Law. She now plans to move to New York City where she will be prosecuting juveniles with the New York Law Department.

Mariana Rego - Vice President of Public Relations
Mariana is originally from Brazil and grew up in
Miami, FL. After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in industrial engineering in 2007, she moved
to New York City, where she is currently an associate at a large financial services firm. Mariana is passionate about service
and fundraising, and was involved with several service organizations in college. Her favorite color is green; she enjoys

Susanna Bundala - Chairperson of YOGAA
Daudi
Mboma - Vice Chairperson of YOGAA
Daudi has spent his whole life in
Tanzania, living in different parts of Dar es Salaam. He graduated from Loyola High School Dar Es Salaam, and is currently
pursuing his Advanced Diploma in Computer Science at The Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam, expecting to finish
by the end of June. He serves as vice-chairperson of Youth Global Action Aid (YOGAA) and supervises the construction of The
House of Blue Hope. He is responsible for overseeing all the construction meetings and coordinating the contractor, project
manager, and other professionals.
